Officials discuss research, projects on Grand Lake

CELINA - Environmental officials from Lake Champlain in Vermont are seeking the advice of Grand Lake officials and researchers on the workings of the treatment trains.
New Lake Improvement Association President Nick Rentz told LIA members at their Saturday meeting that Lake Champlain officials learned about the treatment trains through a story in The Journal of Environmental Quality. [More]

County health officials have battled over eyesore site for years
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP - A major Mercer County eyesore is nearly cleaned up.
The roughly 5-acre site of Dumpsterman Container on Staeger Road is being cleaned to bare ground, and noticeable progress had already been made on Friday toward clearing away piles of trash.

ST. HENRY - An 11-game St. Henry winning streak began and ended against Celina.
It started with a 67-34 victory over the Bulldogs on Dec. 29 in the Coldwater Holiday Tournament and ended with a 74-69 loss Saturday night at the Redskin Gymnasium.
