Boy Scouts of America earlier this month announced it will drop its gender-specific requirements for the Boy Scouts program to be more family oriented, generating mixed reactions locally.

The teams from Minster had a big day at Saturday's Division III district track and field meet in Spencerville.

Minster's girls won the meet with a total of 118 1/2 and the boys finished runner-up with a tally of 87 1/2.
