Jean Keller
Jean Keller, age 67, of Sidney passed away at 12:22 AM on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Elmwood Assisted Living Center, New Bremen, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Celina, Ohio on January 4, 1951 to the late Bernard & Juletta (Meier) Overman. Her mother survives in Fort Recovery. She married John Keller on September 24, 1971 in St. Peter, Ohio. He survives in Sidney.
She is also survived by her children: Terry & Christina Keller, Piqua, Cindy & Alan Wuebker, Minster, Randy Keller, Botkins, grandchildren: Abagail, Ashley, Alexander, Aiden, Skylar, Cricket, Liv and Autumn, brothers & sisters: Marge & Dick Keller, St. Henry, Dan & Sandy Overman, Fort Recovery, John & Mary Overman, Fort Recovery, Sue & Bob Osterfeld, Montezuma, Chuck & Kay Overman, Fort Recovery, Pat & Dave Adams, Celina, Bob & Penny Overman, Jacksonville, FL, Mary & Neil Siefring, Coldwater, Carol & Bob Dirksen, Liberty, IN, Mark & Karen Overman, Fort Recovery, Angie & Mike Siefring, Burkettsville, in-laws: Mary Ann Lajcik, Thousand Oaks, CA, Betty & Bob Kates, Beavercreek, Karen & Tom Kovak, Fresno CA, Norma & Dave Will, Fort Recovery, Tom & Ruth Keller, New Bremen, Jerry & Rita Keller, New Bremen, Tony & Sue Ann Keller, Warren, OH, Ruth Foster, Casa Grande, AZ, Rick & Edit Vagedes, Bloomington, IN, Jim Lange, Chicago, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother Joe Overman, in-laws Margie Vagedes, Rose Lange, Tom Lajcik and Gene Foster.
Jean was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville and the Ladies Sodality. She was a 1970 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and retired from Sidney Tool & Die. Jean loved to go camping, fishing, playing cards, gardening and especially attending her grandchildren's activities. She had an infectious smile and will be dearly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville with Rev. Steven Mondiek and Rev. Rick Nieberding, Con-Celebrants.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster on Thursday, July 19 from 2 to 8 pm and at the church on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
The family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association.
