Bessie L. "Bess" Miller, age 82, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 7:30 am, August 9, 2018, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater, Ohio.

She was born February 9, 1936 in Mercer County to the late Kenneth and Lela (Dailey) Waggoner. On November 21, 1956 she married William "Bill" Miller, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include a sister, Jeanne (Butch) Braun, Celina; and many nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death was a sister, Betty (Ray) Kuhn.

Bess was a 1954 graduate of Celina High School in Celina, and Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She retired after 30 years as a school teacher from Coldwater City Schools in Coldwater, Ohio.

Bess was very close to her family, especially her nieces and nephews and she will be deeply missed by them all. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater, University Women's Club, and Farm Bureau. She was a loyal sports fan of the Celina Bulldogs and was known by all as Aunt Bess.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Robin Owen officiating; where the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
