Bidders participate in Thursday's Mercer County Fair livestock auction. The event had raised $210,470 in premium bids as of this morning, auction official Wendy Rauh said in an email today. Some add-on bids are still expected. About 350 4-H and FFA exhibitors benefited from the auction. This year's auction set records for the grand champion turkey at $1,000 and reserve champion chicken at $1,625, Rauh said.
