Drive-it-yourself tour

People tour MVP Dairy on Sunday afternoon, a 4,500-head dairy cattle operation under construction at 7124 U.S. 33 northwest of Neptune. The 82-acre facility is a partnership between VanTilburg Farms of Celina and McCarty Dairy LLC of Colby, Kansas, and will produce milk for Dannon Yogurt in Minster. The dairy was among seven stops on a drive-it-yourself tour highlighting agriculture and water-quality related sites in Mercer County.
