CELINA - A St. Henry couple is looking to purchase a second area ice cream shop using county revolving loan fund dollars.
County commissioners on Tuesday morning set a public hearing for 11 a.m. Oct. 18 in their office on the second floor of the Mercer County Central Services Building to give citizens an opportunity to review and comment on a proposal to loan $50,000 to JBA Enterprise LLC to help purchase Dairy Drive In at 501 State Route 49. The Grand Lake Mariners hope that his success at St. Henry will carry over to the area's summer college baseball team.

Non-law enforcement jail staff could take guns into work areas
CELINA - Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey has asked county commissioners to allow his non-law enforcement employees to carry firearms while working under certain conditions.
