Pelicans still here

American white pelicans are seen on Grand Lake on Friday afternoon near the Celina Rotary Dog Park. According to the Ohio Division of Wildlife, American white pelicans can weigh up to 16.5 pounds with a wingspan of 9 feet. Mercer County Wildlife Officer Brad Buening said the pelicans use Grand Lake as a stopover to rest and eat before continuing on their migration.
