Marceil Lochtefeld
Marceil E. Lochtefeld, age 77 of Chickasaw, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 23, 1941 in Wendelin, to the late Henry & Leona (Kunkler) Guggenbiller. On January 13, 1962 she married Alvin Lochtefeld and he survives in Chickasaw.
Marceil is survived by children, Ronald & Roseann Lochtefeld of Chickasaw, Linda Hughes of Bellbrook, Sue & Doug Campbell of Bellbrook, and David Lochtefeld of Celina. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Stephanie & Daniel Coffey, Ashley & Michael Schromm, Grant Lochtefeld, Holly Lochtefeld, Mitchell Hughes, Haley Hughes, Alec Campbell, and Jack Campbell, two great grandchildren, Eleanor and Aurora Coffey, as well as siblings, Margaret & Thomas Albers of Minster, Eugene & Alfreda Guggenbiller of St. Henry, and in-laws, Leonard Luttmer of Yorkshire, Dorothy Guggenbiller of Sharpsburg, Gerald Miller of Decatur, IN, Martin &Marie Schmitmeyer of Celina, Willie & Annie Lochtefeld of Ft. Recovery, Roger & Edna Lochtefeld of Ft. Recovery Paul & Sandy Lochtefeld of New Lebanon, and Janet & Richard O'Neill of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lochtefeld, siblings, Delores Luttmer, Thelma Guggenbiller, Norman Guggenbiller, Mary Ann Miller, Lucille Schmitmeyer, and a brother in-law Ralph Lochtefeld.
Marceil was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Chickasaw, and the Ladies Sodality. She loved country music, mushroom hunting and bingo. She was an avid sports fan and loved following the Marion Local Flyers and Cincinnati Reds.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Precious Blood Church with Fr. Tom Brenberger, officiating. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, December 21, and 9:00 to 9:30 am Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
