Grant sought to fund $1.2M path

CELINA - Marion Township officials aim to construct a 2.1-mile bike path and establish 5.4 acres of permanent green space as part of the $1.2 million Marion Township Greenway Phase I project.
Marion Township Trustee Robert Unrast and Marion Community Development Organization Infrastructure Chairman Nick Moeller on Thursday morning revealed plans to county commissioners. [More]

ST. MARYS - Kosei Aluminum of Japan plans to increase aluminum wheel production from 8.5 million to 13 million units over the next five years after acquiring AAP St. Marys, according to an AAP St. Marys news release.
Kosei purchased AAP from Hitachi Metals after Hitachi officials decided to exit the global aluminum wheel business. The transfer will be final on March 1, and the company's new name will be Kosei St. Marys, the release stated. [More]

Bath jumped out to an early lead and held off Coldwater to pick up a 46-38 win in girls basketball action at the Tub at Bath High School.
Celina will honor the 1999 boys basketball team during the Jan. 5 game with Bryan at the Celina Fieldhouse.
The team will be honored in-between junior varsity and varsity contests.
