Ronald Schoenlein
Ronald Albert Schoenlein, age 66, of Cassella passed away at Briarwood Village on Monday, February 25, 2019.
He was born August 23, 1952 in Coldwater to the late Albert & Victoria (Broerman) Schoenlein. On May 24, 1975, he married Linda Buening and she still resides in Cassella.
He is survived by his children and spouses, Sarah & Brad Meier of St. Rose, Matt & Angie Schoenlein, Jodi & Matt (Moe) Muhlenkamp, and Tammy Schoenlein all of Cassella; nine grandchildren, Hannah, Ben and Bryant Meier; Kiley, Kenzie, M.J., and Maggie Schoenlein; Allison and Austin Muhlenkamp; siblings; Paul & Phyllis Schoenlein of Portland, Barb & Bill Ahrens of Versailles, Connie & Ted Schmitmeyer of Versailles, Bill & Judy Schoenlein of Portland, Betty & Bob Broering of Cranberry Prairie, Tom & Helen Schoenlein of Versailles, Tony Schoenlein of Portland, Mary & Ken Larger of Piqua, and Joe & Sherry Schoenlein of St. Rose; mother-in-law Betty Jane Buening, and in-laws, Sharon & Luke Timmerman, Connie & Joe Wenning, Joe Buening all of Coldwater, and Angie & Jason Gable of Sylvania.
He is preceded in death by father-in-law Albert Buening and sister-in-law, Connie Schoenlein.
Ronald was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and the Men's Society, Maria Stein American Legion, Coldwater Eagles, and was a veteran of the Ohio Air National Guard. He was a passionate farmer and also worked for S + K Products.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella. Burial with military rites will follow at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Cassella.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 pm Wednesday and 9 to 9:45 am Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
