MENDON - Nobody was seriously injured after a semitrailer veered off U.S. 127 and into a house, crashing through part of a living room and bedroom on Wednesday morning.

St. Marys board approves plan for next school year
ST. MARYS - School board members on Wednesday approved a resolution to allow St. Marys City Schools personnel to manage and operate Holy Rosary Catholic School's cafeteria for the 2019-2020 school year, an arrangement that could be renewed if both parties choose.
WAPAKONETA - Auglaize County Board of Elections officials and a board member were sworn in during a Wednesday morning reorganizational meeting.
Member Brent Henschen was sworn in for another four-year term after the Auglaize County Democratic Party in January reappointed him to the board.
