Audra McArthur
Audra McArthur, 86, of Denver, Colorado passed away in her home on March 14, 2019.
She was born to Merle and Janelle Hoenie on September 2, 1932 in Celina, Ohio.
Audra was the loving wife of Raymond McArthur, wonderful mother to RJ and Joe McArthur, surrogate mother to Scott and Toni Watson, grandmother and role model to Natalie and John Michael McArthur, Heather and Denali Thurston, Ryan and RaeLynn Watson, and cherished friend to many others.
Her contagious laugh, infectious personality and unique perspective has forever influenced and impacted everyone who crossed paths with her.
For the majority of her career she was the executive assistant to the Chief of the Denver Fire Department. After her retirement she volunteered countless hours with the Crafty Senior group in Arvada. Her quilts won numerous ribbons at the Colorado State Fair including a Best in Show ribbon.
A celebration of Audra's life will be held at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado on Monday, March 25th. The viewing and reception will begin at 9:30 am followed by the service at 11:00 am.
