A Celina man was taken to Van Wert County Hospital with minor injuries on Friday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Center Township, according to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office. At about 3:45 p.m., a 2007 Acura sedan reportedly driven by Tracy Hamsher was westbound on Tama Road. Hamsher reportedly pulled into the eastbound lane to retrieve mail from her mailbox. She then reportedly attempted to turn into her driveway on Tama Road when her Acura was struck by a westbound 1992 Honda sedan. The Honda then hit a utility pole. The Honda's driver, Gary Gross of Celina, was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. Hamsher reportedly refused treatment. She was issued a citation for a marked lanes violation, according to the sheriff's office.
