COLDWATER - Mercer County Community Hospital's operating budget ended the 2018-2019 fiscal year with a net deficit of $591,264 after experiencing a large volume of employee health insurance claims and a greater-than-expected amount of bad debt.

CELINA - The Celina Planning Commission on Thursday granted permission to a resident wanting to open a barbershop at his house.

Commissioners approved the zoning variance to Dan Coffey, 7262 State Route 197, allowing him to operate the business in the residential zone.
