Celina now in a three-way tie for league lead
CELINA - Celina entered Tuesday tied for second place in the Western Buckeye League.
The Bulldogs found themselves in a three-way tie for first place when the night was over.
NEW BREMEN - Spencer Alig scattered two hits over seven innings and the New Bremen offense backed him up with runs in five of its six at-bats in a 7-1 victory over Parkway on Tuesday in MAC baseball action at New Bremen High School.
COLDWATER - Two former Coldwater Ben's employees renovated a portion of the store and opened their own business.
Courtney Diller and Cheyla Barhorst worked together at Ben's for more than eight years with Diller in charge of the framing department and Barhorst running the floral department.
Midwest Electric Inc. and Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op will study the feasibility of consolidating the companies, according to a news release.
If the results are positive and both agree to consolidate, the decision would go before board members for a final vote, the release stated.
