In 1955 he co-founded Coldwater Machine Company and operated it for over twenty years before selling the business. In 1977 he joined Wright State University-Lake Campus in Celina, Ohio as Adjunct Professor and began the Machine and Tool Technology program and taught for ten years until his retirement in 1988.
