Ruth S. Stelzer, age 82 of St. Henry, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.

She was born August 24, 1936 in St. Henry to the late Joseph & Loretta (Spoltman) Reichert. On May 30, 1960 she married John Stelzer and he survives in Coldwater.

She is also survived by her children, Joe & Tina Stelzer of St. Marys, Ron & Kim Stelzer of Celina, Barb & Tim Harter of Celina, Linda & Roger Depweg of St. Henry, Matt & Michelle Stelzer of St. Henry and Mark & Michele Stelzer of Gahanna; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Lavern & Edna Reichert of Coldwater, Ken & Elaine Reichert of St. Henry, Joan & Phil Rengers of Chickasaw, Ivo Schwieterman of Carthagena, Northburga "Butch" Geise of Coldwater and Imelda "Sis" Puthoff of Chickasaw.

She is preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Schwieterman; and in-laws, Corinna Stelzer, Elenora Shockman, Henry Stelzer, Lidwina Bergman, Florian Stelzer, Willibald Stelzer, Frances Stelzer, Werner Stelzer, Norbert Stelzer and Delphina Quinter.

She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, May 2, 2019 at St. Henry Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry from 3 to 7 pm Wednesday and after 9 to 10 am Thursday.

Memorials may be made to Walleyes for Wounded Heroes or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
