Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Danny Huey
Danny L. Huey, 72, of Mendon, OH died 12:09 p.m. Wednesday July 17, 2019 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
He was born June 17, 1947 in Mendon, OH to Earl and LaVaun (Hines) Huey. He was first married to Inez Brown, who preceded him in death. He then married Charlotte Miller-Shindler, who died February 13, 2010.
Survivors include: daughter Milly Bartley of Holgate, OH; daughter Rose Miller of Wakarusa, IN; daughter Betsy Shindler-Townsend of New Bremen, OH; daughter Patricia "Martie" Shindler-Clark of Celina, OH; son Ron "Dooter" (Krista) Hines, Jr. of Ansonia, OH; daughter Crystal (Galen) Barnes of Weston, OH; significant other Mary Jackson of Celina, OH; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother Robert Huey of Mendon, OH; sister Hazel (Les) Oaks of Spencerville, OH; sister Norma Bell of Mendon, OH; sister Judy Vulgamou of St. Marys, OH; sister Alice Hook of Mendon, OH; sister Connie Wilson of Mendon, OH; sister Dorothy (Ed) Miracle of Mendon, OH; brother John (Rita) Huey of Mendon, OH; sister Mary Hook of Mendon, OH; brother Lloyd (Peg) Huey of Mendon, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Earl and LaVaun Huey; first wife Inez Huey; second wife Charlotte Huey; grandson Brodi Barnes; brother Charles Huey; brother Gary Huey; sister JoAnn Miller; brother Paul Huey.
He was a retired tow motor operator from Huffy Bicycle Mfg. Co. in Celina. He then worked as a driver for Wannamacher Trucking Co. in Lima for a number of years.
His favorite pastimes included fishing, playing bingo, camping and tinkering in his garage.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday July 20, 2019 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
Visitation 1-3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
