Jerry Andrew
Jerry Lee Andrew, age 77, of Celina, Ohio and formerly of Englewood, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at The Gardens Nursing Home in Celina.
He was born on June 7, 1942 in Celina, Ohio to the late Glenn Andrew & Helen Jean (Shanebarger) Andrew-Meyer. He was also preceded in death by his step-father Paul W. Meyer.
He is survived by numerous good friends.
He graduated from Celina High School, then he went to the International Business College. He lived in Englewood for 38 years and was employed at Reynolds & Reynolds. He started his career in Celina and after 43 years of service, retired in Dayton, from Reynolds & Reynolds computer Division.
He was a member of the Celina Masonic Lodge #241 and a member of the Celina Moose Lodge #1473. Jerry was also a member of the St. John Lutheran Church Hopewell Township. He was a Deacon of the Church for several years and served on the Church Council.
Jerry enjoyed his sports. He was an avid fan of Celina High School Athletics, The Ohio State University, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Toledo Rockets football.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the St. John Lutheran Church Hopewell Township, with Rev. Karen Tamorria officiating. Burial will follow in the Buck Cemetery, Celina.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and an hour before services at the Church on Thursday. Masonic Lodge Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
