Kim Lampert
Kim Lampert, age 65, of St. Marys joined the Lord on August 25, 2019 at 9:35 pm in his home in St. Marys with his loving family by his side.
He was born in St. Marys to the late Eugene & JoAnn (Schnell) Lampert on October 28, 1953. On August 17, 1974 he married his wife of 45 loving years, Kathleen (Fortman) Lampert, who survives in St. Marys.
Kim was a devoted father to his two daughters, Brenda (Kenny) Klosterman of St. Marys and Nicole (Chris) Fortkamp of Coldwater. Kim was always looking after his two siblings, Christine (Mike) Homan of St. Marys and John (Kathy) Lampert of St. Marys. He truly enjoyed his time spent with his four grandchildren, Korey & Kaylee Klosterman and Brantley & Bryce Fortkamp. Kim also had many nieces and nephews who looked up to him.
Kim was a 1972 graduate of Memorial High School. He went on to work for Goodyear Tire Company and retired in 2016. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys K of C 1800, and the Wapakoneta Eagles #691.
Kim had many interests, but his most pronounced interest was football. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching St. Marys Roughrider football. Kim was known for his ability to process meat; he continued the tradition of the Lampert meat market as a hobby.
Kim had love and laughter in his heart, he was full of joy and was known for always putting others before himself. Kim's kindness, easy going attitude and sense of humor was contagious and a positive influence for many people. His real and abiding passions were his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all.
A gathering of friends will be from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm, August 29, 2019 in Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on August 30, 2019 in Cisco Funeral home, St. Marys, at 10:00 am, with Deacon Marty Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am-10:00 am before the service.
