Grants, loans would fund road projects
CELINA - Mercer County Engineer James Wiechart received the green light on Tuesday to seek more than $900,000 in Ohio Public Works Commission funding for two road projects.
CELINA - Water quality information for the renovated West Beach will likely be available by the end of the week, according to Lake Facilities Authority president Jared Ebbing.
MENDON - Council members at Tuesday's meeting heard about a plan to tighten the village's junk ordinance.
Since the beginning of the year, council members have been approached by residents complaining of ordinance violations such as improper parking, excessive junk and property negligence.
ST. MARYS - The Disaster Loan Outreach Center in St. Marys will cease operations at the close of business on Thursday due to a steady decrease in activity, the U. S. Small Business Administration announced Tuesday.
