Semitrailer, car crash

A semitrailer struck the rear end of a Mercedes-Benz sedan at the intersection of State Route 707 and U.S. 33 Monday afternoon. Rockford fire department and Ohio State Highway Patrol personnel responded to the accident, shutting down U.S. 33 for a period of time. No further details were available at press time.
