Mendon tower teardown

A crane is used to lower a section of the tower to the ground as workers for Iseler Demolition of Port Hope, Michigan, cut apart and take down the old Mendon water tower piece by piece Thursday morning. The nearly $1 million project to replace the old tower began in the spring and has mainly been funded through Community Development Block Grant funds.
