Mendon tower teardown

Phillip Fastenau, Adam Orshoski and Terry Miller use blow torches to cut up a section of the old Mendon water tower. Workers for Iseler Demolition of Port Hope, Michigan, cut apart and took down the tower piece by piece Thursday morning. The nearly $1 million project to replace the old tower began in the spring and has mainly been funded through Community Development Block Grant funds.
