ST. MARYS TOWNSHIP - The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a male who reportedly broke into a garage and stole several items on Christmas night.
The incident happened in rural St. Marys Township at about 10 p.m., according to a news release. The male forced his way into the attached garage of a home and took several items. Information on the specific items that were taken is not being released to protect the integrity of the case.
Video of the male suspect and his vehicle was captured by the home's security cameras and has been posted on the ACSO's Facebook page as two separate videos. The public is being asked to review the footage and, if anyone knows the suspect's identity or recognizes the vehicle, to call 419-739-6565.
