CELINA - A Celina man who was accused of assaulting his wife has pleaded guilty to a second-degree charge of felonious assault, a fifth-degree felony charge of escape and two fourth-degree misdemeanor charges of menacing as part of a plea deal.

CELINA - Mercer County Board of Elections Director Deb Sneddon wants to jump-start relationships with local school officials to boost voter registrations and turn out more youth-at-the-booth poll workers on Election Day.
COLDWATER - Work on a $450,000 expansion and redesign of Mercer County Community Hospital's pharmacy should be done sometime this spring, hospital officials said Wednesday.
BLACKCREEK TOWNSHIP - Jordan Road between U.S. 33 and Winkler Road will be closed for a bridge replacement, said Mercer County Engineer Jim Wiechart.
The road is expected to be closed on Monday and is scheduled to reopen in about six weeks, weather permitting.
