Rebecca Rammel
Rebecca A. "Becky" Rammel, age 67, of Fort Recovery, passed away April 20, 2020 at her home.
She was born October 30, 1952, in Coldwater, to the late Leonard and Marie (Post) Koesters. On November 27, 1971, she married David Rammel, who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Jennifer & Scott Dippold of Coldwater, Stacy & Jose Faller of Fort Recovery, Kari & Todd Vehorn of Wendelin and Chris & Shayla Rammel of Farmersville, OH; grandchildren, Caleb, Blake, Lydia & David Dippold, Will & Leo Faller, Zach & Lucy Vehorn and Isaac & Ben Rammel; siblings, Jean & Elmer Mueller of Yorkshire, Jim & Pat Koesters of Springboro, OH, Charlene & Lou Grieshop of Fort Recovery, Mike & Jane Koesters of London, OH, Judy & Jack Gaerke of Fort Recovery, Mary & Matt Cahill of St. Henry, Joan & Gerald "Hap" Brunswick of Anna, Bill & Kathy Koesters of Celina, Kathy & Roger Broerman of Fort Recovery, Nick & Darlene Koesters of St. Henry, Steve & Joyce Koesters of St. Henry and Frank & Diana Koesters of St. Henry; mother-in-law, Delma Rammel of St. Henry; in-laws, Larry & Ginny Rammel of Greenville, Janice & Herb Grieshop of Celina, Joe Dues Sr. of Portland, Marge & Fred Dues of Coldwater, Tom & Sandy Rammel of Coldwater, Jane & Paul Kaverman of Geneva, IN, Rick & Phyllis Rammel of Coldwater, Steve Rammel of Coldwater and Randy & Angie Rammel of Fort Recovery; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her step father, Paul Ranly; her father-in-law, Fred Rammel; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Dues.
Becky retired as a cook for Fort Recovery Schools and also volunteered at The Gardens at St. Henry. She also loved to read and follow her grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
She was a lifetime member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin, she sang in the church choir for more than 50 years, and was also a lector and Communion distributor. Becky was also a member of the Ladies Sodality of the church.
Due to COVID-19 a private Mass will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin, with Fr. William O'Donnell as celebrant. The Mass will be streamed live on Connor Rammel's Facebook page. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
