Dolores Siegrist
Dolores L. Siegrist, age 96, of Fort Recovery, passed away on May 27, 2020 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born March 30, 1924, in Russia, OH, to the late Otto & Magdalene (Barhorst) Grilliot. On August 26, 1950, she married Ivo Siegrist, who passed away on April 9, 2002.
Surviving are her children, Tom & Vicki Siegrist of Fort Recovery, Dorothy Bruggeman of Coldwater, Jerry & Sharon Siegrist of Chickasaw, Jim & Angela Siegrist of Fort Recovery, Don & Sally Siegrist of Coldwater, Karen & Larry Langston of Versailles and Dale & Pam Siegrist of St. Henry; 20 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; siblings, Elaine Berger of Versailles, Annie Schmitz of Versailles, Henrietta & Tom Winner of Osgood and Tony & Marita Grilliot of Celina; and in-laws, Lou Grilliot of Versailles and Jeanette Grilliot of Beavercreek.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dave Bruggeman; a grandchild; a great grandchild; siblings, Purcell Grilliot, Delbert & Ida Grilliot, Cy & Mary Grilliot, Mary Lou & Cecil Monnin and Mark Grilliot; brothers-in-law, Frank Berger and Paul Schmitz; and in-laws, Leona & Henry Schmidt, Barb & George Kreutzjans, Otto & Mary Siegrist, Odillo & Rose Siegrist, Urban & Johanna Siegrist, Ed & Mary Siegrist, Imelda & Leroy Wilker and Celine & Val Homan.
She was a graduate of Versailles High School and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, and its Christian Mothers Sodality. She was also a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and Daughters of Isabella Circle 810, Fort Recovery. Dolores enjoyed playing bingo, cards and the occasional visits to the casinos.
A public Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, June 1, 2020 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Ned Brown as celebrant. A livestream of the Mass will be available at www.fortrecoverycatholics.org/streamspot/. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
A private family visitation will take place.
