New cases in Mercer, Auglaize counties

CELINA - Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Mercer County over the weekend, raising the county's total to 243.
One new confirmed case was reported in Auglaize County, raising that county's confirmed number to 77.
The Mercer County Health District did not release information on the two new cases by press time.
District officials also reported 199 people who have recovered, seven hospitalizations and eight deaths from COVID-19.
Antibody testing is available at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Health district officials said the purpose of the test is to determine whether a person has had COVID-19 in the past. The immunity benefits are not known yet, according the release. The health district will begin reporting positive antibody testing results as probable cases.
A 44-year-old woman is the most recent confirmed case of COVID-19 in Auglaize County, according to a news release from the Auglaize County Health Department. She is self-isolating at home.
Department officials reported 77 confirmed cases, 10 probable cases, 65 people who have recovered, 11 hospitalizations and three deaths from COVID-19.
As of Sunday afternoon, the Ohio Department of Health reported 41,148 confirmed and probable cases in the state, 6,895 hospitalizations and 2,557 confirmed and probable deaths.
