Judith Krugh
Judith A. Krugh was born April 28, 1938 to Cail and Esther (Griggs) Reedy in Mendon, Ohio. On August 31, 2020, God called her home.
She had put up a good fight and overcame many obstacles. Although, she was not able to see for the last 13 years, her eyes have now been opened. Her body which was sometimes in pain has now been made whole.
She graduated from Mendon High School in 1956. She was employed at Sharp Canning Company (Fremont) in Rockford, where she met Reighnald Krugh. They were married April 5, 1958 in Portland, Indiana. He has been waiting for her in heaven since December, 1995.
They were blessed with 4 children, Cindy Prater (Celina), Mary Jane Prestamo, (Lorain), Christine (Gary) Saunders, (Rockford), and David (Brenda) Krugh, (Willshire). They had 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Judith has one brother, Dennis Reedy, St. Marys, and two sisters, Linda (Don) Hays, Rockford, and Ronda Winget, Pennville, Indiana, and her best friend, Della Snyder, Celina.
Gone on before her were siblings, Fred Reedy, Bill Reedy, and Bonnie Carroll.
She was an amazingly strong woman. She was very independent and lived by herself until the end. Her family was her heart. She will be sadly missed by family and friends, but we will meet again soon.
Graveside services for Judy will be held at Riverside Cemetery on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bruce Ekern officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
Although family and friends are invited to attend Judith's graveside services, we continue to be cautious and concerned for those who are most vulnerable, the elderly, and those with serious health issues. We strongly urge everyone to remain vigilant and respect the well-being of the family members and friends. Attendees are asked to observe social distancing, refrain from close physical contact, and wear facial coverings as required by state mandate.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude, or Cancer Association of Mercer County.
