Celina's Mitchell Weitz (16) goes up into the air to hit the ball during Monday's WBL boys soccer match with Bath. Weitz had a goal to help the Bulldogs, who shut out the Wildcats 4-0 at the soccer stadium.

CELINA - It was appropriate on Senior Night that most of Celina's goals came from its 12th-grade team members.
The Bulldogs improve to 4-2-1 and 2-1-1 in Western Buckeye League play with a 4-0 shutout of Bath at the soccer stadium on Monday night. The Wildcats drop to 3-6-1 and 0-3-1 in the league.
Eleven seniors were honored pre-match and the 10 available seniors - Craddock Bridge was out with an injury - got into the starting lineup.
Ten minutes passed before Celina got the first score of the night as senior Logan Seitz booted a perfect corner kick into the zone and Jack Duncan controlled the ball and kicked it in with 29:39 remaining in the first half.
Just over 3 1/2 minutes passed before Celina struck again. This time, senior Mitchell Weitz headed a pass from Cale Schmitmeyer into the net at 26:01 to make the score 2-0.
Fifteen minutes later, junior Brayden Shaw scored off a pass from senior Nathan Wilson to make the score 3-0. The final goal came just before the half as senior Jaden Jones got the final Celina tally.
"It was a good Senior Night," said Celina coach Ryan Jenkins. "We were able to get some senior goals and playing time. A great first half. That's the best we've played all season. Defensively we were solid, and offensively we finished the opportunities we had."
The defense did its part to allow the clean slate. Senior Dalton Leiss, who had been injured for most of the season, returned and rotated with fellow keeper Logan Smith to stop all four Bath shots at the goal.
"It was nice to see (Leiss) back in there to get some time," said Jenkins.
In the junior varsity match, Celina picked up a 4-0 win.
The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday with a road trip to Ottawa-Glandorf for WBL action.
