CELINA - Celina City Schools District voters will be asked to renew an operating levy that superintendent Ken Schmiesing says is one of the district's crucial revenue sources.
The five-year operating levy generates $4.9 million annually and brings in roughly 15% of the district's total general fund revenue, Schmiesing noted. [More]

ST. MARYS - The St. Marys boys soccer team has owned recent meetings in the rivalry with Celina, coming into Thursday's renewal of the Grand Lake Derby with a three-game winning streak and a 4-3-3 record over the last 10 matches with the Bulldogs.

Businesswomen discuss careers, coffee at area java destination

WAPAKONETA - After taking a 10% budget cut across the board due to the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year, Auglaize County funds are in "pretty good shape," according to commissioner John Bergman.
CELINA - The number of COVID-19 cases increased by 14 in Mercer County on Thursday, bringing the total to 1,180.
In Auglaize County, 15 new confirmed cases raised that county's total to 654.
Celina holds on to beat St. Marys in four sets
CELINA - For Celina, it was a matter of hanging tough.
St. Marys held late leads in each of the final two sets, but each time the Bulldogs found a way to pull ahead and squeeze out a 25-22, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23 win.
