Multiple levy issues on November ballots

An operating levy benefiting the Auglaize County Council on Aging is on the ballot for renewal this election, and officials say it's necessary to keep basic services funded.
The five-year, 1-mill levy has been on the books since 1990 and has come up for renewal once again, according to council director Robert Warren. The levy would continue to cost the owner of a $100,000 home about $23.22 annually. [More]

City revenue down but not as expected

CELINA - Auglaize County saw a spike in new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, reporting 44 new confirmed cases, raising that county's total to 757.
Mercer County also continues to see a large increase in new cases, as the 22 reported on Wednesday brought the county's total to 1,255.
