Gabriel Andrews
Gabriel J. Andrews, age 15, of Coldwater died Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born January 21, 2005 in Coldwater.
He is survived by his mother Meredith (Klosterman) May of Coldwater; father Mike (Kim) Andrews of Rockford; half-brother Dylan Andrews; niece Athena; grandparents Margaret Kahlig-Klosterman and William Andrews; uncles and aunts Steve (Ellen) Klosterman, Dave (Toni) Klosterman, Peg (Scott) Noonan, Jason (Donna) Andrews and Dixie Andrews and girlfriend Julie Bertke.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Mark Klosterman and Susan (Rush) Andrews.
He was a Sophomore at Coldwater High School. Gabe was active with the Coldwater Track & Field team and the wrestling team. He enjoyed video games, building with LEGOs, making a video blog, collecting Nike apparel and he loved cars especially a 1980 Camaro. Gabe was also an advocate for Sarcoma Awareness.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday October 31, 2020 at Grand Lake United Methodist Church, Celina, seating will be limited due to CDC guidelines.
Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Friday October 30th, and from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM on Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to Cancer Association of Mercer County.
