The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Richard 'Skip' Ross
Richard "Skip" Ross, age 79, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on November 15, 2020 at Heritage Center in Minster, Ohio.
He was born March 17, 1941 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Frank J. and Margaret D. (Winhoven) Ross. On June 14, 1963 he married Karen S. (Black) Ross and she proceeded him in death on October 21, 2013.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah (Alan) Buxton, Celina; two sons, Dick (Lora) Ross, Celina and Rick (Shelly) Ross, Celina; a brother, Frank Ross, Celina; nine grandchildren, Ashley (Adam) Rolfes, Celina, Brittany (CJ) Lovejoy, Plain City, Ohio, Brad (Alexis) Buxton, Celina, Molli (Austin) Freeman, Columbus, Sarah Ross, Celina, Tyler Ross, Celina, Mitchell Ross, Cincinnati, Mason Ross, Dayton and Madison Ross, Cincinnati; and seven great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Ross; a sister, Ginny Brown; and a great grandson.
Skip proudly served his nation in the United State Navy. He worked at General Electric in Decatur, Indiana and retired from Crown Equipment in New Bremen, Ohio after many years of service. He was a member of Celina Eagles Aerie #1291, Celina American Legion Post 210 and the Celina Moose.
Skip enjoyed camping, boating, dancing, watching his grandchildren play sports, coaching youth football and baseball and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the Ross family.
