* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Scott Botkin
Scott D. Botkin, age 61 of Coldwater, died Monday, November 16, 2020 at his home.
He was born February 2, 1959 in St. Marys to the late Frank Botkin and Sally (Vantilburg) Botkin who survives in Lima.
He is also survived by two sons Matt & Ashlee (Heinl) Botkin of Coldwater and Brian Botkin & Kelsey McMaster of Columbus. His pride and joy was being a grandpa to Izaak, Kynlee and Cayn Botkin. Also survived by two sisters Deb & Jay Clutter of Wapakoneta and Linda & Larry Holycross of Lima and a nephew Eric Holycross.
Scott was a 1977 graduate of Celina High School and previously worked at Joint Township Hospital and Celina Schools. For the last 14 years he enjoyed his work as a grandpa even straying from his bulldog roots to move to Cavalier territory. Scott was an avid Bengals fan and enjoyed his yearly NFL game with his boys.
A funeral service following all CDC guidelines will be held at 11 am Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 am until time of services on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Coldwater Fire Department.
