Thomas Temple
Thomas L. Temple, Sr., 71, of Celina, died 8:32 P.M. Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born April 24, 1949, in Mercer County, Ohio, the son of Guy and Doris (Houts) Temple. He married Nancy Gilbert and she preceded him in death in 2012.
He is survived by his children: Thomas (Jenny) Temple, Jr. of Monroeville, Indiana; Penny Rodriguez of Celina; Chris (Crystal) Gilbert of Celina. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and by one brother, Doug (Tina) Temple of Celina.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings: James Temple; Donald Temple and Larry Temple.
He was retired from Allied Waste, and he enjoyed dirt track racing and woodworking. He was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, and the University of Dayton Flyers. Most of all, Tom loved working.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Rick Brosher, officiant. Burial rites will be held at the Botkins Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. All visitors to the funeral home are required to wear a mask in accordance with the mandates of the Ohio Department of Health.
