Bea Kriegel
Bea Kriegel, age 60, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at her residence in Celina. She was born on Aug. 3, 1960 in Middletown, to the late Mary (Segbers) Vonder Haar. On September 28, 1985, she married William J. "Bill" Kriegel, who survives, living in Celina.
She is also survived by her children: Rachelle (Alex) Hertle of Fayetteville, N.C.: Zoe Kriegel of Bowling Green; Trevor (Meghan) Kriegel and Hagan Kriegel both of Celina; five grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law: Mark (Laurie Kopec) Vonder Haar of Gahanna; Joe (Sherry) Vonder Haar of Coldwater; Bill (Lisa) Vonder Haar of New Jersey; her sisters and brothers-in-law; Jane (Bob) Angerer of Dayton; Kathy (Jim) Rutschilling of Celina and Miriam Morones of Arizona; and in-laws John (Betty) Kriegel, Troy, Mich; Charles (Linda) Kriegel, West Carrollton; Charlene Harner (Greg Cartter), Kirbyville, Mo.; Susan Wagner, Celina; Marg Wagner, Celina; David (Diane) Wagner, Celina; Betty (Mike) Heckler, Coldwater; and Nancy (Joseph) Nerderman, Albuquerque, N.M;
Bea was preceded in death by her mother and her infant son J.M. Kriegel.
She graduated from Coldwater High School with the Class of 1979 and attended classes at Wright State University and Edison State Community College. She retired as the Church Secretary, from the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. Bea enjoyed riding her bike, crocheting, sewing and embroidering. One of her greatest joys was sharing stories, text messages, and letters with her friends and family.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held and livestreamed online at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Tim McFarland C. PP. S. officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina. Attendees are required to wear masks, practice social distancing and follow the COVID-19 guidelines established by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health.
