Viola Kemper
Viola L. Kemper age 90 of Chickasaw, Ohio died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born November 3, 1930 in Cranberry Prairie, Ohio to the late Charles & Anna (Rindler) Reier. She married Werner A. Kemper on November 23, 1950 in Cranberry Prairie. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1986.
She is survived by children: Betty & Norbert Weitzel, Fort Recovery, Janet & Bill Stachler, St. Henry, James & Debra Kemper, Celina, Paul & Lori Kemper, Chickasaw, 18 grandchildren: Brian Weitzel, Steve Weitzel, Karen & Rick Klenke, Julie & Keith Knapke, Jennifer & Jeff Brackman, Eric & Brandy Weitzel, Stacy & Kevin DeMange, Angela Stachler & Ian Bracey, Matthew & Ashley Stachler, Ryan & Stephanie Stachler, Austin Kemper & Dani Toste, Jacob Kemper, Stephanie & Daniel Stang, Zachary & Katey Kemper, Justin Kemper, Chelsea Kemper, Hope Kemper, Ethan Kemper, 33 great grandchildren and one on the way, 2 great great grandchildren, twin sister, Polly Luttmer, St. Henry, Jerome & Bernadetta Kemper, Osgood, Wilbert Kemper, Maria Stein, Joseph Kemper, Jr, Maria Stein.
She was preceded in death by sons: Ronald, Donald, Thomas, great grandchildren: Damon Klenke, Brittney & Brenda Knapke, Carson Brackman, brothers: Wilbert & Sally Reier, Walter Reier, in-laws: Alfred Luttmer, Rita & William Baltes, Linus & Georgianna Kemper, Shirley Kemper.
She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw and the Ladies Sodality of the Church. She loved playing cards at the senior citizen center. Viola was a woman with very strong faith and loved being outdoors.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, with live streaming available at Marion Catholic Community YouTube or Facebook page. Visitors are asked to follow CDC guidelines. Burial will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
The family would like to meet friends but due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no public viewing.
