12.4 PPG, 5.7 Rebounds, 2.7 Steals

After breaking into the rotation as a sophomore, Hoelscher became a leader for the Flyers in her junior season, finishing with team-highs in scoring, rebounding and steals.

Her play helped the Flyers to a 17-5 regular season while getting votes for the Associated Press girls basketball poll. The Flyers won a sectional title before losing a tough battle against New Knoxville to end the season in the district semifinals.

"She's a hustler," Marion Local coach Beth Streib said after a Dec. 12 game against Wapakoneta. "She's always all over the place...on the defensive end, she's quick and got long arms and can disrupt on that end as well."

Hoelscher was a first-team All-MAC selection and earned District 8 honors.
