Technology aids with animal rehabilitation

MINSTER - In the human world, orthopedic surgery without physical therapy could be considered malpractice. The same should hold true for animals, said Dr. Leslie Winner of Mile Creek Animal Hospital.

CELINA - COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Mercer County, with the cumulative case count surpassing 4,000 as vaccine supplies mount while demand drops locally and nationwide.
CELINA - Mercer County Board of Elections members on Tuesday morning moved to support and encourage local public schools to participate in a statewide civic education program.
MINSTER - Council members approved a resolution Tuesday night opposing a bill pending in the Ohio House of Representatives which would change the way employees working at home pay their municipal income tax.
Mercer County's unemployment rate decreased in March, down to 2.8% from 3.7% in February.
The county rose from the fourth lowest rate of joblessness in Ohio to second, according to an Ohio Department of Job and Family Services news release.
