After seeing tremendous growth in eight years at New Bremen, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is preparing to host a major event at Cardinal Stadium on Sunday.

Beginning today through June 30, troopers from the Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol will patrol U.S. 33 in Auglaize County from State Route 66 to County Road 33A.

NEW BREMEN - Battling 15 mile-per-hour winds and temperatures dropping into the low 40s, the Marion Local boys came in first and the Coldwater girls placed second in the Cardinal Invitational at New Bremen High School on Friday.

CELINA - A hot start with the bats for Defiance put Celina in an early hole too deep to dig out of as Celina fell 13-8 in a Western Buckeye League softball battle of Bulldogs on Friday at Westview Park.
