Matthew Gray
Matthew F. Gray, age 60 of Celina, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his residence.
He was born June 1, 1960 in Celina to the late Joseph B. and Marilyn (Wenning) Gray.
Matt is survived a daughter, Sofia S. Gray, Mason, Ohio; two brothers, Joseph (Jovetta) Gray, Celina and Craig (Nancy) Gray, Celina; four sisters, Mary Jo (Pete) Cooper, Medford Lake, New Jersey, Jacquie Gray Mihm, Celina, Pam (John) Nagy, Celina and Tina Gray, Celina.
He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gene Mihm; and a nephew, Ben Cooper.
Matt was a 1978 graduate of Celina Senior High School and received his Master's Degree in Education from Wright State University. He worked as a principal and teacher at Middletown High School in Middle Town, Ohio. Matt was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina.
Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at visitation and funeral.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S., officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:15 am - 10:15 am at the funeral home Tuesday morning. Interment will follow mass at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Celina Public Library.
