WAYNE TOWNSHIP - A child reportedly drowned on his third birthday Friday evening, according to a news release from the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office.
At approximately 12:06 p.m. Friday, Wayne Township emergency medical services were dispatched to a residence in eastern Wayne Township. The call reportedly was for an unresponsive child who was found floating in a pond. The caller reported CPR was being performed. [More]

ST. MARYS - The way St. Henry and St. Marys were playing, it seemed like the only way the game would end was if the curfew at K.C. Geiger Park came into play.
St. Marys tied the game at 1-1 in the sixth and both teams scored in the eighth before Easton Craft's 11th-inning single scored Jack Boos to give the Roughriders a 3-2 win over the Redskins for the team's first win of the summer. [More]
