Scotty G. Strete, age 69 of Celina, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Lima Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 22, 1952 in Celina to the late Kermit and Virginia (Myers) Strete. On July 1, 1989, he married Karen Ann Feigel who survives in Celina.

He is survived by his daughters Tonya Smith, Tracy (Tim) Mackenbach, four grandchildren Samantha Teeters, Amanda Friday, Daniel Stant, Derek Mackenbach, four great-grandchildren Dax Jackson, Nova Skye Stant, Lily Mackenbach, Charlotte Feldmeier, brother Craig Strete, sister-in-law Marcy (Jim) Crouch, and brother-in-law Tom (Debbie) Feigel.

Scotty graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1970. He enjoyed racing his 1969 Dodge Charge R/T and his Glastron Carlson jet boat. He was a general manager of Lake Cycle Honda Kawasaki, he then went on to own and operate Strete Cycle and Sports for 33 years. He was a farmer and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and went on many hunting trips. He was also a lifelong member of the NRA. He also enjoyed going on many trips with his wife Karen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 and from 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. Wednesday morning before service.
