Jeffrey Frank
Jeffrey Dean Frank, 67, of Westerville, Ohio, passed on to be with the Lord on August 11, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones after an extended and courageous battle with cancer.
Jeff remained positive and hopeful throughout it all. He lived an inspired life of integrity and strong ethics, even during challenging times. Jeff had an uncanny ability to always see the good in others and was anxious to share his strong Christian faith with everyone. He was very proud of his children and their choices in careers and partners.
Jeff was born in Washington, D.C. to Hulda Marilyn and George Frank. He grew up in Hartford, Connecticut where he was valedictorian of his high school class and earned his bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He was an entrepreneur in life, starting several successful businesses. He was particularly enthusiastic about his most recent endeavor, American Moving and Storage, where he considered his manager, Oscar Gonzalez, and his other employees to be family.
No one Jeff ever encountered remained a stranger. He loved his family and his faith, and he relied heavily on the power of prayer. Jeff was an active outdoorsman. He enjoyed playing golf, hiking along wooded trails and enjoying the sun and sand of a beautiful beach. Jeff was a long time active member of the Vineyard Church in Sunbury where he especially liked teaching the kids, and leading Bible studies.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, George Frank.
He leaves behind, to treasure his memory, his wife, Leigh Oberlin Frank, who was both his partner and the love of his life; his mother, Hulda Marilyn Frank of Celina, Ohio; his children, Nathan Jeffrey Frank (Amanda) of Haymarket, VA., Stephanie A. Frank (Charles Lopes IV) of Hau'ula, HI, and George M. Frank (Rachel) of Denver, CO, and three grandchildren, Benson, Edwin and Kensley.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 27, at 7 pm. at the Vineyard Church of Delaware County in Sunbury, Ohio at 7 P.M.
Calling hours will precede the service from 6:00 7:00 P.M.
