Wanda Hole
Wanda Kay Hole, age 72, of St. Mary's passed away on August 30, 2021 at Ohio Hospice of Dayton.
She was born on January 29, 1949 to the late James Thomas and Gladys (Barnes) Scales in Dayton. On July 3, 1971, she married Lloyd Hole who passed away on March 21, 2007.
She is survived by her son Aaron Hole of Beavercreek, sister Linda Scales of Wilmington, brother-in-law Frank (Barbara) Hole of Ft. Wayne, Norman "Bud" Tidwell of New Bremen, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers-in-law David (Debra) Hole, Robert "Bud" (Regina) Hole, Merrill (Jennie) Hole, sisters-in-law Marie (Ken) Laux, Marjorie Tidwell, and Althea (Gene) Staugler, Mary Alice (Ken) Reid.
Wanda graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1967 and then went on to get a teaching degree in education from Ohio Northern University. She was an elementary teacher for the 2nd grade at Celina City Schools then tutored at Seymour Indiana until she retired in 1996. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church. She enjoyed shopping, collecting Elvis memorabilia, playing games, and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina, with Pastor Josh Tissot officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Friends and family may call from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina. The Hole family request that attendees wear a mask to protect everyone during serves.
