* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Loramie, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, New Knoxville, Russia, Osgood, Willowdell, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Yorkshire, Lake Loramie State Park, Egypt, Maria Stein, Mccartyville and Houston.

Brian Whetstone
Brian Paul Whetstone, age 38 of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.
He was born in Coldwater, Ohio, on August 5, 1983 to Pastor Stephen and Pamela (Laman) Whetstone, who survive living in Markle, IN. On June 17, 2006, he married Elizabeth Wilkins who survives in Troy.
He is also survived by his children Zach Whetstone, Cole Whetstone, Grant Whetstone, Ana Whetstone, Katie Whetstone all of Troy, two sisters Dr. Julie Whetstone of Columbus, Amy (Brad) Krick of Columbus, nephew and niece Ian Krick and Ailish Krick, mother and father-in-law Doug and Mary Ann (Lefeld) Wilkins of Celina and his brother-in-law Chris Wilkins of Celina.
Brian was employed at Honda in Marysville and Anna and worked in the Information Services Department. He enjoyed playing video games and was a huge Ohio State fan, followed the Cincinnati Reds, and was a Cleveland Browns fan.
A Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Celina First Church of God, with Rev. Michael Mitchell officiating.
Brian's private family burial will be held in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 and an hour before services on Saturday at the Celina First Church of God located at 850 Fairground Road.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Whetstone Children Scholarship Fund.
