Areas of fog across the area this morning is reducing visibility to one mile or less in some locations. The fog will diminish in the mid to late morning. Until that occurs, motorists should slow down, use extra caution, and be prepared for changes of visibility along their route.

Southern Mercer County Joint Ambulance District Assistant Chief Ryan Bollenbacher, left, and President John Rammel head up the newly formed Emergency Medical Services agency that covers Recovery, Gibson, Granville and Marion townships and the villages of Burkettsville, Chickasaw, Fort Recovery and St. Henry.

  Formerly the St. Henry EMS branch, it broke away from the county EMS to offer a paid on-call system in an effort to attract more recruits.
